President Jacob Zuma has dispelled British media reports about South Africa not being in a position to host a successful 2010 FIFA World Cup and assured Britons that South Africa has stringent safety and security measures in place for the tournament.
2010 tourists will get the chance to experience a different side of Cape Town when they visit the first ever backpackers on the Cape Flats. The Blue Flag Backpackers was opened yesterday by partners Hylton Mitchell and Jerome Hofmeester, two locals who run a tour company.
